The in-alliance events are the only times you have a chance to win and only if you get lucky with your match 3 match ups. Big money players nearly always place ahead of you in events, because their might is 3 or 4 (or more) times the size of yours. The daily tasks quickly become a chore and you can’t finish certain events without paying for the last daily task. In the beginning it’s great, build your sanctuary, play some puzzle games, do daily tasks and events and interact with other players in your alliance or state chat. Try it if you're curious, but be careful about putting money into the game, because the initial boost you experience won't carry you far, and you're either going to cut your losses and move on, or feel inclined to sink more money into the game to keep up. Even then, you're going to fall hopelessly behind on events, PvP minigames etc. Your best case scenario as a non-rich player is to find an alliance full of rich people and piggy-back off their power. ![]() If you're in an alliance, you will be fed upon if you're not one of the top "guilds", and there are no top guilds that consist of F2P players, it just isn't possible. It's sneaky, because it won't be obvious for days or weeks. It starts off REALLY enjoyable and throws loot at you to make you think it's a generous system, but you can play 12 hours a day, look up video tutorials etc, and you'll still be pathetically weak compared to people who buy tons of stuff. If you're not looking to spend thousands of dollars, stay away. ![]()
